往左边的山间小道往上走，走到尽头，就到了“九口锅”遗址。我以为，九口锅就是做饭用的，说不定是远古时代人们做饭的地方。遗址是一块巨大的石台，石台上有许多凹坑，圆圆的，大大的，就好像一口口巨大的锅一样。看了旁边石碑上的详细介绍，我才明白我的猜测完全错了。原来，“九口锅”遗址其实是宋蒙战争时期钓鱼城战场的兵工厂遗址，这里曾经制造了铁雷、火炮等威力巨大的火器，这些锅状凹坑是用来碾制火作文药的。凹坑风雨后积水，看起来就跟江边石坝上的普通水坑差不多，但其历史价值不言而喻。
