My grandmother's kind smile, the wild vegetables growing in the mountains, and the familiar countryside always make me feel warm ripples in my heart, which linger for a long time.

I still remember when I was a child, every early spring, my grandmother would carry a burlap bag and carry me young, searching for wild vegetables in the fields of my hometown. On the slopes of early spring, wild vegetables grow all over the mountains, occupying this land. Although inconspicuous, they grow wildly everywhere, green and short, with leaves stretching out like spirited little elves.

ZuoWenBa.Net

I followed my grandmother into the fields, with a gentle breeze and the scent of freshly turned soil brewing in the air, mixed with the unique fragrance of wild vegetables. Grandma bent down and picked among a small group of wild vegetables, but only picked the freshest leaves. My grandmother and I were not as careful behind her, always uprooting the wild vegetables. When my grandmother saw the wild vegetables with roots in my hand, she would always smile and say, "Miss, don't uproot all the wild vegetables. Keep their roots, and there will be more wild vegetables next year

Grandma likes to make fillings from wild vegetables and wrap them into buns. The sweet and soft white flour wraps around the slightly bitter wild vegetables, with a mix of sweetness and bitterness, leaving people wanting more. Every time I make wild vegetable buns, my grandmother also makes a few white sugar buns for me. The white sugar buns are so sweet that they touch my heart. My grandmother watched me enjoy eating the buns and whispered, "This wild vegetable bun seems like life. After suffering, it turns sweet. I don't know how much better it is than that sweet and greasy white sugar bun." My grandfather would also laugh and joke, "Your grandmother just suffered too much in the past and won't enjoy happiness

Later, I went to school in the city with my mother and rarely had the chance to eat steamed buns. But every festival, when my mother brings my grandparents over, my grandmother always brings back wild vegetable buns from her hometown. They still have the same taste as before, but with a hint of local flavor. I am no longer the little girl who loves to eat sweet and greasy steamed buns. I have never experienced much hardship, but I have also fallen in love with these wild vegetable buns that turn sweet after hardship.

Later on, with the construction of rural urbanization, the old house was built into what the grandmother called a "pigeon cage", but the grandmother was not as sad as imagined and was still busy inside and outside as usual. Every time I go back to my hometown, my grandmother still takes me to climb up the mountain slope, gazing at the land from afar. The sun sets, watching tired birds return to the forest, watching the bustling traffic, and watching the hustle and bustle.

Looking ahead, it's like wild vegetables that will cover the mountains and fields again next year, "Grandma's tone was light and gentle. The sunset fell on him, casting layers of soft light, and my heart was unexpectedly moved. The principle of" returning to sweetness after hardship, "the tenacious growth of wild vegetables, the land, the people and things I deeply love, crossed the spring flowers and summer rain, swayed through the autumn wind and winter moon, gave me warmth and the strength to move forward.
