The ancients said, "Books are like medicine, good reading can cure ignorance. I think books are like keys that can help us open the door to knowledge. During the winter vacation, I read the book "One Hundred Thousand Whys" written by Soviet science popularization writer Mi Yilin.
This book is not like other books that simply impart knowledge to us in a dry and dry manner. Instead, it takes us through a room and transmits our knowledge of any object we see. For example, when passing by a fireplace, it raises the question of why water can extinguish a fire? The reason is that water prevents combustible materials from coming into contact with oxygen in the air; As he passed by the dining table and stove, he raised another question - why does milk become sour? The reason is that there is a type of yeast in the air that acts similarly to bacteria, and when these bacteria enter milk, they can turn lactose into lactic acid. This way of asking questions while browsing can help us better remember every knowledge point.
This book may seem like a science popularization book, but it actually has some truth to it! For example, when introducing the mirror, he told a story: "The Venetian glassmakers were tempted by the French gods to make glass for France. When the secret of glass was revealed, France was unwilling to give them a lot of money, and Venice did not accept them. In the end, there was no way out. This story tells us that loyalty is the foundation of being a person, and no one wants to get along with disloyal people. Being disloyal will ultimately lead to a bad outcome.
Just in the room, there is so much knowledge, including the suburbs, forests, rivers, gardens... There must also be a lot of knowledge there. I want to seriously explore the magical mysteries there and uncover them one by one.
