It's another summer, the sun shines through the branches of the street, and the mottled light and shadow shine on the road. Through the window, I see a bouquet of carnations in the flower shop, and my thoughts cannot help but be pulled back to that day.

That day, just after it rained, the air was damp and everywhere looked like clothes that hadn't been dried. My grandmother has been sick recently, so I went to the hospital to visit her after school. After the rain, the air was fresh. Passing by a nearby flower shop, the flowers bloomed even brighter under the nourishment of the rain. I wanted to surprise my grandmother, so I bent down to choose a bouquet of carnations. I slowly appreciated and carefully selected, and suddenly saw a bouquet of blooming carnations, like my grandmother's usual smiling face. I walked quickly over and immediately decided to buy it, even thinking about the happy expression on my grandmother's face when I handed it to her.

At this moment, a hand appeared in front of me, and a soft voice sounded in my ear: "Boss, I want this bouquet of carnations." The hand slowly picked up the flower, and I looked up. It was a little girl, black, thin, with big, shiny black eyes shining under her thick eyelashes. I quickly said, 'Little sister, this is what I first liked.' The little girl didn't show any weakness and said, 'But this is what I got first.' After that, she tightly hugged the bouquet of carnations in her arms.

I looked at her longing eyes and waved my hand to give it to her. When I was selecting other flowers, I heard her communicating with the shop assistant: 'Boss, can't it really be any cheaper?' Later, it was her lonely back - not holding the bouquet of flowers, and gently walking away. I found that the bouquet of flowers had been left at the checkout counter, and I secretly felt happy in my heart. So I decisively paid and walked towards the hospital.

When I arrived at the hospital, I unexpectedly ran into this little girl again. I chased after her and asked, "Little sister, why are you here too?" "My mother is sick, and I am taking care of her in the hospital." With a gentle sound, it shook my heart, and I asked again, "Why are you? Where are the family members?" "Dad can't come back from working in another province, grandpa has left even after throwing milk, and younger brother is still too young." After listening to these words, a silhouette of a hardworking and difficult mother appeared in front of me. Why did you send flowers? "" Today is my mother's birthday, and I want to make her happy. "At this moment, tears of inadequacy welled up in my eyes." Here you are! "I immediately stuffed the bouquet of flowers into the little girl's arms.

Suddenly, the little girl was startled by the carnation stuffed into her arms, and the faint fragrance of the flowers lingered around us. Sister, did you really give it to me? But my mom told me I couldn't take anyone else's things, so I can't take this flower. "" Hurry up and give it to your mom, let her have a happy birthday. "The little girl couldn't believe it, but she was overjoyed. She held the bouquet of carnations in her hand and bowed in front of me, saying," Thank you sister. "Then she hurriedly ran to the ward, where the sunshine after the rain shone warm and fresh.

I walked up to my grandmother's sickbed and told her this story, promising to bring her a more beautiful bouquet of flowers next time. Grandma touched my head with a smile on her face and said, "As the saying goes, 'Give someone a rose and leave a lingering fragrance in your hand.' This is the best gift you can give Grandma

When my thoughts return to the present and I carefully recall this incident, it brings me endless warmth and love
