令我印象最深刻的是《红小鬼》这一章，当时的少先队员与我们年龄相仿，却跟我们有着截然不同的生活。他们有的是孤儿，有的是逃亡的学徒，有的曾做过奴隶，还有的是从不能养活自己的家庭逃出来的流浪儿，他们全都曾遭受过压迫，也全都是自己决定加入红军。当作者问他们为何加入红军，他们的回答基本是一致的“红军喜欢穷人，红军是人民的兵！”他们的生活大多穷困潦倒，红军是他们唯一的光，这让我更明白当今美好生活的来之不易，使我更为珍惜如今的生活，对共产党人的的敬意更上一层。
