Today is April 23rd, the 72nd anniversary of the liberation of Changzhou. Our teacher is taking us to the Martyrs Cemetery to participate in a solemn flag raising ceremony. Today, I am full of expectations, washing my face, brushing my teeth, and putting on my school uniform. Bring that brand new red scarf and dress formally to meet those martyrs.
I walked towards the campus and came to my class. The teacher said we can start soon. At that time, I couldn't wait to go to the Martyrs Cemetery. Finally, we can move towards that solemn flag raising ceremony.
[ www.zUOwEnBa.NeT ]
We walked to the Martyrs' Cemetery, and the sign read the four prominent characters' Martyrs' Cemetery '. As soon as you enter, there are statues of those heroes, how great they are! I sacrificed myself for our Chinese resistance against Japan. They carved the statue so big and conspicuous, it must be to tell us that we should also learn from them and protect our country. Walking inside, I saw soldiers walking forward with heavy steps, and I kept looking at them with envious eyes. I also want to be such a great soldier when I grow up.
The flag raising ceremony is about to begin. We walked towards the flag raising platform, teacher, helped us set up our positions, and everyone had to step on the white dots. The people attending the flag raising ceremony were very formal, and the ceremony was also very grand. We looked forward and saw the host talking. The host suddenly said, '; Turn back. ” We followed the host's command to turn back. I only heard the host say looking at the national flag, and we looked at it slowly rising up. I saw his soldiers again, so excited. They continued to walk towards us with heavy steps. It seems that the captain said stand at attention, and they were standing straight and orderly like one person. Turn left, they continue to turn left so neatly. They played the national anthem and asked us to salute. We saluted quickly like the wind. To show respect for the national flag.
Then the host asked the uncles and aunties next to us to clench their fists and raise their hands next to their heads. Let them become great soldiers and heroes in the future. Finally, the soldiers lifted the flower and placed it on the hero's tombstone. At that time, I really wanted to say to those deceased heroes, you are great, thank you. My tears couldn't help but fall from time to time, but I thought that I couldn't cry during such a solemn flag raising ceremony, so I swallowed my tears.
The flag raising ceremony is simply amazing. I really want to be a great soldier and pay tribute to the heroes who sacrificed their lives. Thank you, without you, we wouldn't have such a beautiful home, such a beautiful motherland, and such delicious food.
