Literature conveys knowledge and transforms people. In my eyes, culture is also calligraphy.
从小，我便与书法结下了缘。那是我第一次接触书法，刚刚踏入教室的门，一股清新淡雅的墨香便与我撞了个满怀，桌子上已焉然摆好了“文房四宝”，那只独特的毛笔吸引了我的注意，使我有些兴奋，甚至跃跃欲试起来。
Since childhood, I have had a connection with calligraphy. That was my first time encountering calligraphy. As soon as I stepped into the classroom door, a fresh and elegant ink fragrance collided with me. The "Four Treasures of the Study" were already arranged on the table, and that unique brush caught my attention, making me excited and even eager to try it out.
开始上课了。我端坐在墨香环绕的教室，仔细聆听着老师说古论今般介绍着书法，心中的欣喜不减反增，那种渴望也在平静的心境中更加凸显。终于，开始练习了，我用清水将新毛笔泡开，在砚台上轻刮几下，挤出多余的水，便将笔尖伸向了浓墨。接触到墨的那一刻，笔上的清水在黑墨中流淌而下，最终滴入砚台中央，悄悄溅起层叠波澜，一时间如同静谧的玉石的墨开始流功，它仿佛天空上的乌云，翻滚着深浅不一的颜色，但却不像乌云密布时的激昂、压抑与热烈，而是宁静的，像一股清澈的泉水，让心灵都为之平缓，墨色缓慢地爬上笔梢，留下一抹神秘的黑影。
The class has started. I sat in the classroom surrounded by the fragrance of ink, listening carefully to the teacher's introduction of calligraphy as if discussing the past and present. The joy in my heart did not diminish but increased, and that longing became even more prominent in my calm state of mind. Finally, I started practicing. I soaked the new brush in clean water, scraped it lightly on the inkstone, squeezed out excess water, and then extended the tip of the brush towards the thick ink. At the moment of contact with ink, the clear water on the pen flowed down in the black ink, finally dripping into the center of the inkstone, quietly splashing layers of waves. For a moment, the ink, like a quiet jade, began to flow. It was like dark clouds in the sky, rolling with different shades of color, but not like the excitement, suppression, and enthusiasm when the clouds were dense. Instead, it was peaceful, like a clear spring water, making the soul calm. The ink slowly climbed up to the tip of the pen, leaving a mysterious black shadow.
我轻轻提起笔，模仿着老师的样子，在光滑的纸上滑过，留下一道湿润的墨迹。大抵是墨蘸多了吧，那笔“横”竟缠绵般晕染来，早已失去了老师写得那份干净、整洁。再写几笔，已不像方才那样晕染，而是干脆地在金黄的毛边纸上留下乌黑的色彩。
I gently picked up the pen, imitating the teacher's appearance, and slid over the smooth paper, leaving a wet ink mark. Perhaps it's because I've dipped too much ink, and the 'horizontal' stroke has become lingering and blurred, losing the clean and tidy handwriting that the teacher had written. Write a few more strokes, no longer as blurred as before, but simply leaving a black color on the golden edge paper.
殊不知，这简单的一横一竖里竟也蕴藏着源远流长的中国文化了。自此，我对书法的热爱便一发不可收拾起来。
Little did they know, this simple horizontal and vertical structure also contains the long-standing Chinese culture. Since then, my love for calligraphy has been unstoppable.
我早已不满足于练习笔画，而开始临摹著名书法家欧阳询的《九成宫醴泉铭》以及赵孟頫的《三门记》了。每当我翻开这两本字帖，便觉得自己坠入了书法的海洋，在其中尽情邀遨游着。看着自己书写的作品，脑海中回想着诸位书法家创作时的场景，刹那间，如同回溯到了古时。
I am no longer satisfied with practicing strokes, but have started copying the famous calligrapher Ouyang Xun's "Inscription on Liquan in Jiucheng Palace" and Zhao Mengfu's "Sanmen Ji". Every time I open these two calligraphy books, I feel like I have fallen into the ocean of calligraphy, exploring it to the fullest. Looking at the works I have written, I recall the scenes of various calligraphers' creations in my mind, and in an instant, it feels like I have traveled back to ancient times.
传统的意义，不仅是为了口头上、笔下技艺的传承，而是让更多的人去了解它，热爱它，并沉迷其中。
The traditional meaning is not only to inherit oral and written skills, but also to enable more people to understand it, love it, and become addicted to it.
我爱书法，更爱它背后的中国传统文化。
I love calligraphy, but I also love the traditional Chinese culture behind it.
