端午节快到了,人们都忙着包粽子、赛龙舟,挂艾叶……处处洋溢着欢乐氛围。
The Loong Boat Festival is coming. People are busy making Zongzi, racing Loong Boat, hanging wormwood leaves... There is a happy atmosphere everywhere.
我家一大早就开始忙着包粽子了,妈妈提前买好糯米、调料、粽子叶。接着洗米泡米,粽叶也洗好放到锅里煮至变软,再夹出来放到筐子里沥干水。
My family was busy making Zongzi early in the morning. My mother bought glutinous rice, spices and Zongzi leaves in advance. Then wash the rice and soak the rice, wash the zongzi leaves and boil them in a pot until they become soft, then take them out and put them in a basket to drain the water.
望着眼前摆好的粽叶,还有一大盆白得发光的糯米,腌好的五花肉和咸鸭蛋黄,我们开始包粽子了!只见妈妈先把两片粽叶排整齐,然后撩起粽叶卷成锥形,继续在里面放上左右两片粽叶加固,就可以放入一小勺糯米,再放入一块肥肉、一块瘦肉、一个蛋黄,加上一大勺糯米封顶,用手压实,把左右的叶子同时向里叠,最后再用手按住上下的叶子,使它形成一个三角锥形。接着用线把粽子的四个角绑住、绑紧,一个漂亮的粽子就完成了。不一会儿,原本空空的竹篮子一下就被这黄绿色的小家伙给填平了。

I saw my mother first arrange the two zongzi leaves neatly, then lift the zongzi leaves and roll them into a cone shape. She continued to reinforce them with two zongzi leaves on the left and right sides, and then put in a small spoonful of glutinous rice, followed by a piece of fat, a piece of lean meat, and an egg yolk. She added a large spoonful of glutinous rice to seal the top, pressed it with her hand, and folded the left and right leaves inward at the same time. Finally, she held down the upper and lower leaves with her hand to form a triangular cone shape. Then bind the four corners of Zongzi with string, and a beautiful Zongzi is finished. In no time, the originally empty bamboo basket was filled up by this yellow green little guy.
接下来就是煮粽子了,奶奶和爷爷把大锅填满水烧上,我抱着一大筐的粽子走来,粽子一个个争先恐后地跳进锅中,盖上锅盖再用大火煮几个小时就可以出锅了。期间,奶奶打开锅盖加水,我看见粽子在锅里沸腾着、翻滚着,时不时传来粽子的香味。禁不住诱惑的我老是拉着奶奶问:“奶奶,粽子煮好了吗?我好想吃呀!”奶奶却摸摸我的头,笑着说:“快了快了,再等会。”我只好继续迈着小步转悠,期盼着粽子快点熟。
The next step was to cook Zongzi. Grandma and Grandpa filled the cauldron with water and burned it. I came with a large basket of Zongzi. Zongzi rushed into the cauldron one by one, covered the cauldron and boiled it for several hours. During this period, my grandmother opened the lid of the pot to add water, and I saw Zongzi boiling and rolling in the pot, and from time to time came the smell of Zongzi. Unable to resist temptation, I always pulled my grandmother to ask: "Grandma, is Zongzi cooked? I really want to eat!" My grandmother touched my head and said with a smile, "soon, wait a while." I had to continue to walk around with small steps, hoping that Zongzi would be cooked quickly.
不知不觉中粽子熟了,奶奶把热气腾腾的粽子从锅中全部捞了出来,你瞧,青色的粽子上缠着白色的丝线,就如同一个襁褓中可爱的小娃娃。待到粽子冷却少许,我就立刻拿起一个粽子,将粽子上的线拆下,小心翼翼剥去粽叶,露出诱人的晶莹剔透的糯米,凑上去一闻,粽叶的清香中夹杂着浓郁的糯米香气,我迫不及待咬上一口,糯米的香味游走于我的唇齿之间,口感软糯滑而不腻。再多咬上两口,糯米的清香融合着鲜肉以及那可以流出汁的蛋黄落入口中,回味无穷。
Unconsciously, Zongzi was ripe. Grandma fished out all the steaming Zongzi from the pot. You see, the green Zongzi was wrapped with white silk thread, just like a cute baby in swaddling clothes. When the Zongzi cools down a little, I immediately pick up a Zongzi, remove the thread from the Zongzi, carefully peel off the leaves, revealing the attractive crystal clear glutinous rice. When I smell it, the fragrance of the leaves is mixed with a strong aroma of glutinous rice. I can't wait to take a bite. The aroma of glutinous rice flows between my lips and teeth, and the taste is soft, glutinous, smooth and not greasy. Take two more bites, and the fragrance of glutinous rice blends with fresh meat and the egg yolk that can release juice, leaving an endless aftertaste.
“这味道太美味了,我一口气能吃三个”。我们一家人围坐在一起诉说着粽子的美味,享受着难得的欢聚时光。
This taste is so delicious, I can eat three at once. Our family sat around and talked about the delicious Zongzi, enjoying a rare time of reunion.
