在山脚下，我们遇见了这位老人：衣着朴素，白色大褂，着一顶小帽，满头银发，纵使脸上沟壑般的爬满皱纹，却仍盖不住眼中放出的炯炯光彩。
At the foot of the mountain, we met this old man: dressed simply in a white coat, wearing a small hat, with silver hair all over his head. Even though his face was covered in wrinkles like grooves, it still couldn't cover up the bright light in his eyes.
我们一同踏上了征服这座山的艰难之路。

山，属实高耸，听下来的人说，越往上走，山路越陡，石阶越是狭窄，有些地方需要手脚并用才爬的上去。
The mountain is truly towering. Those who have heard it say that the higher you go, the steeper the mountain path becomes, and the narrower the stone steps become. In some places, you need to use both hands and feet to climb up.
老人的儿女担忧的问他：“爸，这山您上的去吗？不行，咱别上了。”老人却爽朗一笑：“哈哈哈…我身子骨硬着呢，不用你们担心，没事！”那份从容，倒赶上关云长千里走单骑，长须飘飘，威风凛凛。

向上爬着，我感觉身体有些吃不消了，便气喘吁吁的靠着边上的大石头，再看这老人，拄着拐杖，脚下生风，像一名长跑运动员似的，将我们落在身后。
Climbing up, I felt my body couldn't take it anymore, so I gasped for breath and leaned against the big stone next to me. Looking at the old man, leaning on his crutch and feeling the wind under his feet, he left us behind like a long-distance runner.
山的秀丽，让我们时时驻足观赏，大片大片皆是郁郁葱葱的树林，像是绿色刷子刷过，绿的绵延，绿的生机，两旁绿的松树挺拔俊直。历经数十年的风雨仍耸立，长青。恰似这老人，岁月能染白他的银发，却终压不弯他的脊背，不老松一般坚挺。
The beauty of the mountains makes us stop and admire them at all times. Large areas are covered with lush forests, like green brushes brushing over them, with green stretching and vitality, and green pine trees standing tall and straight on both sides. After decades of wind and rain, it still stands tall and evergreen. Just like this old man, time can whiten his silver hair, but it can never bend his back, as firm as a pine tree.
再向上到了半山腰，出现了一级级的，陡的，半人高的石阶，这怎能不是极大的考验？众人都劝老人：年纪大了，这么危险就别上了，出了点闪失不就得不偿失了吗？老人摇摇头，眼神中满是坚定，将拐杖递给女儿，双手勾在石阶边缘，双腿蹬在凸起处，一用力半个身子上了去，右腿向下一踩，整个人站在了石阶上，拍拍手上灰尘，从容接过拐杖，动作一气呵成。旁人看，哪是一位年过半百的老人，俨然一位健康的年轻人。
