过去的生活条件很差，大家生活非常艰苦。村子都是土房子，一到下雨季，很多人家还漏雨呢！夏天，人在屋里睡觉，就跟睡在蒸笼里似的，到处都有苍蝇蚊子飞来飞去，有些人家因为没钱买厚衣服受冻挨饿，村子里不通公路，办事只能靠脚走，没有电，没有各式各样的家器。还有少数人家的房子周围都是一些堆家畜粪便的粪塘，每到夏天太阳一晒臭气熏天。村子里的路很窄，凹凸不平，都是坑坑洼洼的土路，遇到下雨天到处都是泥泞，路上还有一些家畜的粪便，脏乱不堪，根本不像现在这么平坦这么干净，一幢幢楼房也拔地而起了，替代了当年那些土墙和茅草屋。一条条宽阔而又平坦的道路四通八达，再也不像以前坑坑洼洼了。道路两旁灯火通明，各种商店的灯更是美不胜收，生活质量提高了，人民的生活也有了保障。多数家庭都有一辆私家车，这样外出就变得更方便了。特别是这两年的扶贫政策更使农村发生了翻天覆地的改变，我们读书吃饭不要钱，有建党立卡的孩子还有更多的优惠政策，再也不用担心交不起学费读不了书了。
