“鼓上排球”，听到这个名字，我便开始惊讶起来了，鼓上怎样打排球？听了教练的介绍，我才知道不过是鼓上弹排球罢了。

我们被教练领到一个宽阔的操场中，说：“现在，我们来分组分小队，然后每个小队队长来领一个鼓和一个排球。”老师话音刚落，我们就异常激动，操场立马沸腾起来。

我们被分成两组，一组六个小队，一小队十个人，当我看到我的队员时，心里不禁犯起了愁：大部分都是骨瘦如柴，看上去没精打采的，真正高大、强壮的人没两个，我不禁暗自嘀咕着：“看来，这次比赛赢是没有希望的了。”

比赛开始了，全场都喧闹起来，我拉紧手中的绳子，努力保持平衡，随着球上下的跳跃，整组的同学迅速调整位置。由于地面上全是灰尘，脚一踏上去，灰尘飞腾，弥漫在空中，让人睁不开眼，但我丝毫不敢松懈。
The game started and the whole place became noisy. I tightened the rope in my hand and tried to maintain balance. As the ball jumped up and down, the whole group of students quickly adjusted their positions. Due to the dust on the ground, as soon as I stepped on it, the dust flew up and filled the air, making it hard to open my eyes, but I dared not slack off at all.
尝试几次后我发现，玩鼓上排球并不是靠蛮力，而是靠平衡力的。那几个小个子似乎懂得了一个规律，于是就熟练的摇摆了起来，真是出乎了我的意料之外。最后，我们小队赢得了比赛。
After trying a few times, I found that playing drum volleyball does not rely on brute force, but on balance. Those few little ones seemed to understand a pattern, so they skillfully swayed, which was really beyond my expectations. In the end, our team won the competition.
这还让我明白了一个启示：我们遇到了困难，不要自己吓自己，不去尝试，怎么就知道不会成功呢？
This also made me understand a revelation: when we encounter difficulties, don't scare yourself, don't try, how do you know we won't succeed?
