去年暑假，我们一家来到贵州旅游，准备欣赏心仪已久的中国四大瀑布之一的黄果树瀑布。

随着轰鸣声不断变大，我终于看到了黄果树瀑布的真实面貌。瀑布很宽，像一面大镜子挂在空中，周围全是绿油油的树木。站在栅栏边上看，瀑布成了一块白色的幕布，阳光下白幕布反射出绚烂夺目的光芒。透过幕布后面，隐隐约约可以看到深褐色的岩石和泥土。

黄果树瀑布以当地一种常见的植物谐音命名，享有“中国第一瀑”之盛誉。黄果树瀑布与其他有名的瀑布相比，各有魅力。他没有庐山瀑布“飞流直下三千尺，疑是银河落九天”的秀美壮丽；没有花果山水帘洞瀑布“远通山脚下，直接大海波”的源远流长。但它就像是一个桀骜不驯、放荡不羁的巨人，昂首屹立在林木之间，面对他我深深感受到大自然的神奇运力。看着奔腾不息的水流从70多米高的悬崖绝壁上飞泻而下，发出如千人击鼓、万马奔腾的声音，震耳欲聋，响遏行云，着实令人惊心动魄，赞叹不已。
Huangguoshu Waterfall is named after a common plant homophone in the local area and enjoys the reputation of being the "number one waterfall in China". Compared to other famous waterfalls, Huangguoshu Waterfall has its own charm. He does not have the beauty and magnificence of the Lushan Waterfall, which flows straight down three thousand feet and is suspected to be the Milky Way falling into the nine heavens; The Huaguo Mountain Shuilian Cave Waterfall has a long and rich history, as it connects to the foot of the mountain and directly reaches the sea waves. But it is like a rebellious and unrestrained giant, standing tall among the trees, facing him, I deeply feel the magical power of nature. Watching the rushing water flow down from the cliffs over 70 meters high, emitting a deafening sound like a thousand drummers and ten thousand galloping horses, it was truly breathtaking and awe inspiring.
“透陇隙南顾，则路左一溪悬捣，万练飞空，溪上石如莲叶下覆，中剜三门，水由叶上漫顶而下，如鲛绡万幅，横罩门外，直下者不可以丈数计，捣珠崩玉，飞沫反涌，如烟雾腾空，势甚雄厉……盖余所见瀑布，高峻数倍者有之，而从无此阔大者。”这是徐霞客在游览黄果树瀑布时留下的笔墨。虽然我的所见所闻没有如此夸张，可能因为时代变迁的缘故吧，但我仍感叹大自然的鬼斧神工。

Among the waterfalls that I have seen, there are several times as high and steep, and there is no one as wide as this. "This is the pen and ink left by Xu Xiake during his visit to Huangguoshu Waterfall. Although my observations and experiences may not be so exaggerated, perhaps due to the changing times, I still marvel at the incredible craftsmanship of nature.
面对这些神奇秀丽的美景，我们人类唯有汗颜。回来的路上大家都静默无语，我的眼前全是黄果树瀑布的壮观景象，这也算是对它的无限崇敬吧！
Faced with these magical and beautiful scenery, we humans can only feel ashamed. On the way back, everyone was silent and speechless. Before my eyes was the magnificent sight of Huangguoshu Waterfall, which can be considered as infinite admiration for it!
