中午到了，太阳猛照，别的小组已经收获满满，装了几口袋红薯，可我们小组一个也没挖到。我便拿起小铲子找了一块空地，开始挖红薯。我先蹲下来，弯着腰，把小铲子使劲地插进土里，再一插一撬地准备把红作文薯挖出来，结果我高兴得太早，红薯被我的小铲子分成了两半，我失望极了。但我看看被我分成两半的红薯，它好像在说：“没关系，下次小心一点就好了。”于是我鼓足勇气，继续挖红薯。我小心翼翼地紧紧地握着小铲子使劲地刨开红薯周围的泥土，这个红薯一直在土里一动不动，就像小婴儿离不开妈妈的怀抱一样。我一直不放弃，太阳火辣辣地照在我的身上，像是在给我加油。豆大的汗水从我身上滴落下来，我越干越起劲，“啪”的一声，红薯从土里蹦了出来，这个红薯可真大呀，像一个圆溜溜的气球。我越来越熟练，不一会儿，我就挖到了一大堆红薯。红薯有的像长长的小萝卜，有的像小老鼠，有的又像毛毛虫。红薯皮是紫色的，像穿了一件美丽的外衣。有的皮摸起来很粗糙，全身长满了疙瘩，有的摸起来又很光滑。
