春节期间，我和妈妈经常待在家里观看精彩的的北京冬奥会比赛。冬奥会有单板滑雪，冰壶、自由滑雪、还有短道速滑等十五个项目，其中令我印象最深刻的还是男子1000米短道速滑这个项目。
During the Spring Festival, my mother and I often stay at home to watch the exciting Beijing Winter Olympics. There are fifteen events in the Winter Olympics, including snowboarding, curling, freestyle skiing, and short track speed skating. Among them, the most impressive event for me is the men's 1000m short track speed skating.
这个项目的决赛选手分别来自中国和匈牙利。比赛开始了，选手们像一支支离弦之箭一样向前冲去，领头的是我国选手武大靖，他就像一只大鹏鸟，在赛道上飞快地“滑翔”，几圈过好，武大靖仍然遥遥领先，他仿佛伸手就能拿到胜利，可这时一阵哨声响起，原来是冰面有问题，所以本场比赛作废。这让电视机前的我和妈妈感到不可思议，过了一会儿，比赛重新开始，匈牙利选手刘少林率先抢到了第一，可不一会儿就被我国的任子威给反超了，紧接着刘少林在第三圈弯道乘任子威不注意，一下子溜了过去，任子威在后面紧追不舍，就这样，5圈，4圈，3圈……最后一圈了，因为两人的水平不相上下，所以第一被他们争来夺去，最后任子威抓住了机会，在弯道上来了次惊险的超车，提前通过终点获得了胜利，为中国队斩获一枚宝贵的金牌，我和妈妈也跟着激动不已。
The finalists of this project are from China and Hungary respectively. The competition began, and the contestants rushed forward like arrows from the string. Leading the way was Chinese athlete Wu Dajing, who was like a big Peng bird, gliding quickly on the track. After a few laps, Wu Dajing was still far ahead, as if he could reach out and win. However, at this moment, a whistle sounded, and it turned out that there was a problem with the ice surface, so the competition was cancelled. This made my mother and I in front of the TV feel incredulous. After a while, the competition resumed, and Hungarian athlete Liu Shaolin took the first place, but was soon overtaken by our country's Ren Ziwei. Then Liu Shaolin rode on Ren Ziwei in the third lap without paying attention, and slipped over in one go. Ren Ziwei chased closely behind, and so on, 5 laps, 4 laps, 3 laps... In the last lap, because the two were equally skilled, they competed to take away the first place. Finally, Ren Ziwei seized the opportunity and made a thrilling overtaking on the bend, passing the finish line ahead of schedule and winning a precious gold medal for the Chinese team. My mother and I were also excited. Endless.
看了这次比赛，我从任子威身上学到坚持不懈，勇往直前，不怕困难的精神，也明白了运动员在台下训练的辛苦，深刻理解了“台上一分钟，台下十年功”的意义。祝其他奥运健儿为中国再创辉煌。
After watching this competition, I learned the spirit of perseverance, courage, and fearlessness from Ren Ziwei.
