安徽省地质坐落在合肥市政务区文化博物园内，占地面积有80亩，总建筑面积26000平方米，其中陈列面积17000平方米。围绕“自然和谐，科学发展”主题，安徽省地质博物院以宇宙、地球、生物、人类资源为展示主体，布置了生命演化厅、恐龙厅、矿物岩石厅、资源与环境厅等6个常设展厅，内容十分丰富。

在这些展厅当中，我最感兴趣的就是恐龙展厅，因为我早就在各类读物当中听说过恐龙的大名，但是它到底长什么样的，我却一直难以想象。带着一肚子的疑问，我们来到了恐龙展厅，远远就看到一个巨大的恐龙化石，我抬头都望不到顶，只有爬到了4楼才能看清它。
Among these exhibition halls, the one that interests me the most is the dinosaur exhibition hall, because I have heard of the names of dinosaurs in various reading materials, but I have always been unable to imagine what they look like. With a belly full of questions, we arrived at the dinosaur exhibition hall and saw a huge dinosaur fossil from afar. I couldn't even look up to the top, and only climbed to the fourth floor could I see it clearly.
这里既有在地上奔跑的恐龙化石，也有在天上飞翔的恐龙化石，大的恐龙化石有两三间教室那么大，小的恐龙化石也有一匹马那么大，一具具恐龙化石形态各异，让我看了这个，又想看那个，真是应接不暇。
There are dinosaur fossils running on the ground and flying in the sky here. The large dinosaur fossils are as big as two or three classrooms, and the small dinosaur fossils are as big as a horse. Each dinosaur fossil has a different shape, which makes me want to see this and that. It's really overwhelming.
为什么恐龙看上去这么高大威武，在当今天的地球上，我们只能见到它的化石，难以发现它们的踪迹呢？我查阅了一下相关资料，原来在6000多万年以前，一颗小行星撞上了地球，使地球的环境发生巨大了变化。在这之后，许多动物纷纷调整了自己的生活习性，适应了新的环境。而恐龙没有调整，最终从地球上消失了。我们也要从这个事情中吸取教训：人要努力学习，才能适应社会的变化和需要，为社会作出贡献。
Why do dinosaurs look so tall and majestic? On today's Earth, we can only see their fossils and it's difficult to find their traces? I looked up relevant information and found out that over 60 million years ago, an asteroid collided with Earth, causing significant changes in its environment. Afterwards, many animals adjusted their living habits and adapted to the new environment. And the dinosaurs did not adjust and eventually disappeared from the earth. We also need to learn from this incident: people need to work hard to learn in order to adapt to the changes and needs of society and make contributions to it.
