人们都说只吃过猪肉，没见过猪跑。但是这句说的在我看来并不准确。事情就发生在今年过年的时候，我们一家都决定去乡下过年。在乡下有一个习俗：过年的时候要杀猪。

There is a custom in the countryside: pigs are slaughtered during the Chinese New Year.
当时正准备第二天把家里的母猪杀掉，但是第二天杀猪师傅赶来之前，猪好像意识到今天就是自己的将死之日。刀还没磨好，就听见“轰”的一声，母猪冲破了猪圈。这时，杀猪师傅刚好赶来，姨姨就让我和表弟、表姐去抓猪。
At that time, they were preparing to kill the sow at home the next day, but before the pig butcher arrived the next day, the pig seemed to realize that today was its dying day. Before the knife was even sharpened, a loud bang was heard as the sow broke through the pigsty. At this moment, the pig butcher just arrived, and my aunt asked me, my cousin, and my cousin to go catch the pigs.
我和表姐、表弟出去时，猪已经跑没影了，我们看光跑追不上，就一人骑一辆自行车去追。追了十多分钟，终于能看见母猪了，我们加快骑车的速度加快了。又过了十分钟，我们就抓住了母猪，马上把母猪放倒，表弟压在了母猪身上。正要把母猪打回家，结果母猪一个“野猪打挺”直接把表弟背在了身上。我和表姐又骑上了自行车。母猪看见我们骑上了自行车，跑得更快，表弟被母猪颠来颠去，嘴里喊着“姐！你们快点啊，我的骨头都要被这头母猪颠散架了！”还真别说，这头母猪虽然有三百多斤，但跑的是真快，我和表姐的自行车都快踩得冒火星子了还追不上它。

Not to mention, although this sow weighs more than 300 pounds, it runs really fast. My cousin and I were so excited about riding our bicycles that we couldn't catch up with it.
又追了好一会儿，母猪突然冲进了菜地，我和表姐下了自行车，跑着去追母猪，但是母猪压倒一片菜之后又跑进了鸡舍。表弟就在这时候下来的，当时他都被颠得快晕过去了。我和表姐就先把表弟放一边，就去抓母猪了。经过一番折腾，终于找到了精疲力尽的母猪和一地破碎的鸡蛋。
After chasing for a while, the sow suddenly rushed into the vegetable field. My cousin and I got off our bikes and ran to chase the sow, but the sow crushed a piece of vegetable and ran into the chicken coop. 最后，我和表姐、表弟把猪用绳子拴在自行车后轮上，把母猪拖回了家，吃上了猪肉。经过这件事我知道了：万物皆有灵性，非不得已，还是要与动物友好相处。
