寒假的第二天下午，阳光明媚，我和哥哥来到汉丰湖边玩，汉丰湖是举世瞩目的长江三峡工程建设而形成的世界上独具特色的人工湖；开州移民新城坐落在此湖畔，构成“城在湖中，湖在山中，意在心中”的美丽画境。阳光下的汉丰湖格外耀眼、美丽，于是与哥哥们跑来划船。波光粼粼的湖面、摇摇晃晃的船儿，再加上寒冷却不刺骨的微风，我们玩得不亦乐乎。

除夕夜，我们一家人乐呵呵地吃顿团圆饭，与哥哥们守夜，放孔明灯，迎接新年的到来。

大年初一，我们全家人一起游开州举子园，文峰塔修建得美丽壮观，站在塔上仰望湖面，此时的汉丰湖真像一幅美丽的画卷。我们了解了开州六举子的故事，由此知道了我们应该从小立志好好学习，将来能为国家的发展做出贡献。
On the first day of the Chinese New Year, our whole family visited the Juzi Garden in Kaizhou. The Wenfeng Pagoda was built beautifully and spectacular. Standing on the pagoda and looking up at the lake, Hanfeng Lake looked like a beautiful painting. 哥哥答应我，认真在家写作业就带我去看电影，于是刚过大年初四我就开始认真完成作业啦。不过能看到《西游伏妖篇》这么精彩的电影，我的付出也算是有收获呀。
My brother promised me that he would take me to watch a movie while I was doing my homework at home. So, just after the fourth day of the Lunar New Year, I started to work hard on my homework. But being able to watch such a wonderful movie as' Journey to the West: Conquering Demons', my efforts can also be considered rewarding.
