The beautiful martial cave tells the wisdom of ancient laboring people and protects a region of land and water; The lush green forest, grateful for the labor of the devotees, buried the yellow sand in the sky. The towering buildings reflect the holy souls of the construction workers and create a beautiful life in Wuxue.

Wuxue, my hometown, is a city that has gone through hardships and constantly risen. With the development of the times, an indelible mark has been left in the long river of history. How many people's footprints have crossed the long historical path, and how many ancestors' great achievements have laid the foundation for a better life today. From ancient times to the present, the city of Wuxue has given birth to many celebrities, including Jin Dejia, the teacher of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty, Rao Hanxiang, the Secretary General of the Hubei Military Governor's Office, and Yang Jitai, who developed prescriptions to relieve the suffering of patients... Since the reform and opening up, the development of Wuxue has made rapid progress, and people no longer have to feel helpless about food, clothing, housing, transportation, etc. Music, painting, and appreciation have enriched people's lives.
Wuxue, my hometown, is known as the "Pearl of Eastern Hubei" and is a millennium old county. Wuxue City, formerly known as Guangji County, was formerly known as the "Buddhist Kingdom" in ancient times, which means "spreading Buddhism and popularizing sentient beings". In 579 AD, Wuxue was separated from Qizhou and became an independent county, establishing Yongning County. During the reign of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang, Li Longji personally changed Yongning to Guangji. The reason why Emperor Xuanzong of Tang chose this name is because this place has always enjoyed the reputation of "the country of a thousand Buddhas" and "the county of a thousand temples". The Great Tibetan Room in Guangji is as famous as the White Horse Temple, Lingyin Temple, Shaolin Temple, Longxing Temple, Daxiangguo Temple and Famen Temple. It is one of the eight Mahayana Buddhist temples in the Tang Dynasty. The name Guangji began in 742 AD and ended with the establishment of Wuxue City after the county was abolished in 1987. After 1245 years of ups and downs, it witnessed the ups and downs of Wuxue, a millennium old county.
