有一天，我正准备给鸽子喂食。突然，我发现鸽子的小腿上有一个小巧而灵敏的东西。我上下打量着，脸上画了一个大大的问号，心想：这究竟是什么？于是，我绞尽心思来破解这个谜。

第一次做实验的时候，我决定用一些食物来引诱鸽子，然后我用放大镜来看个究竟。不过鸽子的速度很快马上把我给它的食物吃完了。我非常沮丧，竟然没有解开这个谜，我又懊恼，又愤愤不平。

“失败是成功之母”，于是，我继续挑战。第二次做实验的时候，我决定放多一点食物，免得破坏我的实验。这一次，鸽子吃得很慢，我像一位科学家似的用放大镜静观默察，目不斜视。但是，我还是搞不懂。我上网查了一下，发现鸽子的小腿是由几个微妙的地震仪组成的，这种地震仪能使地震预报更加准确。这下，我终于明白是怎么回事了。

I searched online and found that the pigeon's calf is composed of several subtle seismometers, which can make earthquake prediction more accurate. Now, I finally understand what's going on.
通过这次的观察，我大开眼界。大自然就像无形的手牵引着我们去探索，大自然也像我们人类的老师，启发我们用锐利的眼睛发现奇妙的事物。大自然真有趣！
