During the holiday, I watched the film 'The Founding of the People's Republic of China' with my parents and had a profound experience.
片子讲述的年代是建国初期，年代好似离我们很遥远，但通过影片我们又仿佛回到了那个年代。故事中讲述了中国共产党与国民党在抗战胜利后，为了建立一个统一的国家却因各自的本质不一而发生内战。最后，因为中国共产党得民心而取得了最后的胜利，而国民党由于内政的腐败、党内分歧导致失败不得不向台湾撤退。
The film tells the story of the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China, which may seem far away from us, but through the film, we seem to have returned to that era. The story tells that after the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japan, the CPC and the Kuomintang had civil war in order to establish a unified country because of their different natures. Finally, the CPC won the final victory because of its popular support, while the Kuomintang had to retreat to Taiwan because of the corruption of internal affairs and the failure of intra party differences.
影片当中有一幕不太长的篇幅让我很感动。闹市中闻一多先生因为李公朴先生的被杀害而愤慨演讲，他的演讲感动了许多百姓，他说：“他所写的所说的，恰恰是一个没有丢掉良心的中国人的话！无耻啊！这是反动派的无耻，恰是李先生的光荣。李先生的血不会白流，李先生赔上了一个生命，我们要讨回一个代价，正义是杀不完的，因为真理永远存在！”。他的话激发着民众的热血，被人民所铭记。可惜啊，在闻先生晚上回家时，被国民党特务无情杀害了。黑夜中，几声冰冷的枪声，眼镜玻璃掉落破碎，一个勇敢且爱国的生命在漆黑的陋巷中陨落了。但他的爱国热血会一直存留在每一个热爱国家，热爱民主的人心中。

On the other hand, the Kuomintang's heinous acts such as street violence against speech students and assassination of democratic figures have already caused them to lose popular support, turning what they thought was a "large-scale" attack into a "retreat and retreat".
