我们武穴人正月十五有一个习俗，也就是元宵节那天舞龙，我们这里俗称“玩龙”。想要玩龙，首先得有龙。举办舞龙表演的人会找一些技艺精湛的木匠，先打造龙的框架，再用塑料膜或油纸蒙覆其上，制作出龙形，也就是“龙皮”。其间还得涂色，等制作完成便在龙首到龙尾的每一个框架节点里放上一个小灯加以点缀。另外，还需制作一个金黄色的大球，也就是俗话说的“龙珠”，为的是引龙。白天龙身的灯光看不出什么效果，显得很普通，但是到晚上灯一亮就与众不同了。

厚厚的人群将玩龙的队伍团团围在场地中央，我好不容易才挤进去。场地角落的一小拨人负责打鼓配乐，一位年过半百的老汉拿着鼓槌在用力且有节奏的击鼓，老汉身旁的一位大娘敲着铙钹，外婆则持着小锣跟着节拍敲着，咚——呛，咚呛咚呛咚咚呛，这锣鼓的配合韵律感十足，围观的人也是越来越多。那条金灿灿的龙是由十来个大娘操控着，在头前一位稍年轻点的大娘挥舞着龙珠，一会儿是双龙戏珠，一会儿是游龙戏浪，龙身上下飞舞，犹如蛟龙出海、腾云驾雾一般在天空遨游，那大嘴一张仿佛要撕碎这人间疾苦，上下飞舞之间引得旁人目不转睛，纷纷拍手叫好。

定睛一看，领头的大娘头上冒出来许多汗珠，因为舞龙的所有动作都需由她来带动，龙头又特别重，虽然有些吃力但她仍然乐在其中。谁说女子不如男，这一群大娘正应了那句话—巾帼亦能胜须眉！中年妇女们看的也是出神，连自家的小孩子跑了也没发现；老人们在那儿拍手叫好，很是佩服这一群舞龙的巾帼红颜；观众们都被这热火朝天的氛围深深感染，表演者则更卖力。舞龙结束后，人群慢慢散开却迟迟不愿离场，真是让人意犹未尽啊！

舞龙不仅是我们武穴人的习俗，也是我们中国的年俗。在历史的长河中一代又一代华夏儿女保留了这个习俗，这也是我们“龙的传人”对中国传统文化的保留和传承。今年是甲辰龙年，按干支历法，“甲”是天干中的第一位，象征着新的开始和活力，辰由星宿而来；而辰之时，乃东方欲晓之时。甲辰龙年寓意着新的开始、兴盛繁荣以及权威与神秘的力量。祝福我们中国人在这个龙年更加吉祥平安，幸福久久！
