下车后，我仿佛穿越到了古代，这儿看不见高楼大厦，到处都是古香古色、红砖白石的古代建筑，导游告诉我们，这个建筑群是蔡氏古民居，由蔡启昌及其子蔡资深建造，现存较为完整的宅第共16座。这里的建筑由多种工艺组成，其中木雕、砖雕、石雕是最常见的雕刻。踏入古厝，10多座翘角飞檐、红墙红瓦汉式大厝整齐划一，拔地而起，精致巧妙，让人不得不惊叹古人雕刻技术的精湛啊！
