中秋节的时候，每个人都会赏月、吃月饼。

中秋节吃月饼相传始于明代。明朝开国皇帝朱元璋命令属下把藏有“八月十五夜起义”的纸条藏于饼子里面，再派人分头传送到各地起义军中，通知他们在八月十五日起义响应。起义军一齐响应，起义军如星火燎原，一举推翻明朝。于是朱元璋决定，每逢中秋月，必须吃月饼。就这样，中秋节和月饼成了华夏子民血液中不可抹去的一部分。
