有一天晚上，爸爸妈妈有事出去了，我独自在家，妈妈临出门前叮嘱我：“在家要注意安全啊，陌生人敲门不要开！”妈妈一走，我就高兴起来，家里立即变成了我的世界，我一边吃着海苔片，一边看电视，高兴得不亦乐乎。

看了半小时后，门外突然传来“咚咚咚”的敲门声，我以为爸爸妈妈回来了，我问了句：“是妈妈么？”没人回答，我感到有些奇怪，有可能是我的错觉，就没在意，于是我继续看电视。

看了二十分钟后，门外又传来敲门声，我想：“这回肯定是妈妈。”可是通过“猫眼”往外看去，还是没人啊！我以为是小孩拿石子打我家门，我吓唬着说道：“你再搞恶作剧，我就报警了！”门外没声儿了，可能是小孩吓得逃走了吧。

过了一会儿，门外又传来敲门声，我以为还是那个小孩，于是我把门打开，东瞧瞧，西看看，还是没人。我害怕了，“难道有小偷？”我拿起玩具宝剑，挥舞着，假装镇静地喝道：“谁在外面？举起手来，否则，我就不客气了！”没人啊！我打开门，想一探究竟，唉！原来是一只可爱的小猫啊呀！害我虚惊一场。
