国庆节要到了，为了纪念祖国母亲七十三岁生日，我校举行了朗诵比赛，要求全校参加。当然，我们班也参加了比赛。

终于，比赛开始了。大家迈着整齐的步伐走上了舞台，我的心七上八下，忐忑不安。我用余光瞄了一下小张，只见他胸有成竹、泰然自若，我也学着他的样子，自信起来。朗诵开始了，我们所有人都面带微笑，铿锵有力的大声朗诵。看啊！小张同学满脸通红，字正腔圆又十分响亮；小李同学把身板挺得直直的，让人觉得非常严肃；小明同学朗诵时非要把身体向前倾，好让别人都听到他响亮的声音。最让我记忆深刻的是领诵的小时同学，他气势如虹，声音停顿得当，每听到他洪亮的声音响起，我的眼前都仿佛出现了一座宏伟的高山。小孟同学的领诵也非常精彩，体面而不失优雅，站在台上娓娓道来，她那婉转的声音就像一首动听的乐曲。

Every time I heard his loud voice, a magnificent mountain appeared before my eyes. Xiaomeng's recitation was also very wonderful, dignified yet elegant. Standing on the stage, she spoke eloquently, her gentle voice like a beautiful piece of music.
朗诵完毕，这时，小雅同学缓缓地走出队伍，在舞台前翩翩起舞。伴着舒缓的音乐，我的眼眶不由自主的红了，我们情不自禁地跟哼唱：“我爱你，中国……”主席台上的领导和评委们也被我们真挚的表演感动了，陆续报以一阵阵掌声。我的心里高兴极了，我想，我们表现得如此出色，第一名一定非我们班莫属。
