“大鹏一日同风起，扶摇直上九万里。”“谁怕？一蓑烟雨任平生。”“庄生晓梦迷蝴蝶，望帝春心托杜鹃。”……这些脍炙人口的诗句都给人不同的情感体验，丰富着我们的精神生活。我跟许多人一样，热爱中华文化，尤其喜欢古典诗词，有幸的是，2023年12月，我参加了学校组织的诗词大赛。
Da Peng rises with the same wind in one day, soaring up ninety thousand miles. Who is afraid? A misty rain can last a lifetime. Zhuang Sheng's dream is enchanting with butterflies, and he hopes for the emperor's spring heart to support the cuckoo. These popular poems give people different emotional experiences and enrich our spiritual life. Like many others, I love Chinese culture, especially classical poetry. Fortunately, in December 2023, I participated in a poetry competition organized by my school.
记得刚被老师叫去参加初赛时，我心里还惴惴不安，生怕自己知识储备不够，会落选。犹豫之时，王老师的话激励了我：“别怕，咱悠然最厉害了！”这使我振奋了不少。初赛过程中，我渐渐放松了下来，在卷子上填出一句又一句美妙的诗词。虽然有些很难，有的我还不会，但我却坚信自己一定能成功。最终，我以74分的成绩和其他19名同学一起进入了决赛。决赛共分成4队：红队、黄队、蓝队、绿队，我被分在黄队。
I remember when I was just called by my teacher to participate in the preliminary round, I was still uneasy in my heart, afraid that my knowledge reserve was not enough and I would not be selected. When I hesitated, Teacher Wang's words inspired me: 'Don't be afraid, we are the best at Youran!' This made me feel more excited. During the preliminary round, I gradually relaxed and filled out one beautiful poem after another on the paper. Although some are difficult and some I don't know yet, I firmly believe that I can succeed. In the end, I entered the finals with a score of 74 along with 19 other classmates. The final was divided into four teams: the red team, the yellow team, the blue team, and the green team. I was assigned to the yellow team.
决赛时间定在了两周后，妈妈帮我打印了一些需要背诵的资料，我就像那吸水的海绵，一有空就抓紧背诵。不到两周，那一沓厚厚的资料便被我攻克了。因为我不仅熟练背诵了七八年级的古诗词，还认真准备了九年级的诗词，所以对即将到来的决赛信心倍增。
The finals were scheduled for two weeks later, and my mom helped me print out some materials that needed to be memorized. I was like that absorbent sponge, rushing to memorize whenever I had free time. In less than two weeks, I conquered that thick stack of materials. Because I not only proficiently memorized ancient poems from seventh and eighth grade, but also prepared poems for ninth grade seriously, my confidence in the upcoming finals has doubled.
即便如此，决赛开始时我站在台上，望着台下人潮涌动，仍然紧张得手心直冒汗，心也砰砰直跳。在提问环节，由于过分紧张，导致我问题回答到一半时大脑一片空白，后半句怎么也想不起来，多亏队友们在旁边提醒，我才得以渡过难关。大家紧握拳头，用坚毅的眼神相互鼓励。后来的比赛我和其他四名小组成员一起团结合作，没有再出差错，其他组的同学也不甘示弱，一个个都口若悬河。在激烈的比赛中，我紧张的情绪不知不觉消失的无影无踪了，我变得自信又大方。
Nevertheless, at the beginning of the final, I stood on the stage, watching the crowd below, still so nervous that my palms were sweating and my heart was pounding. During the questioning session, due to excessive nervousness, my mind went blank halfway through the answer, and I couldn't remember the second half of the sentence. Thanks to my teammates reminding me nearby, I was able to overcome the difficulty. Everyone clenched their fists and encouraged each other with resolute eyes. In the later competition, I worked together with four other group members and made no more mistakes. The students in the other groups were not to be outdone and spoke fluently. In the intense competition, my tense emotions disappeared without a trace, and I became confident and generous.
比赛环节紧凑，过程十分精彩。有校长讲话，中间还穿插了音乐老师带来的歌曲，特别悦耳动听，同学们仿佛沉浸在诗词和乐曲的融合的世界中，享受着、激动着、震撼着……
The competition was tight and the process was very exciting. The principal gave a speech, interspersed with songs brought by the music teacher, which were particularly pleasant and melodious. The students seemed to be immersed in a world of poetry and music fusion, enjoying, exciting, and shocking
我印象深刻的是看图猜诗句和飞花令环节。这些略显新奇的事物，数字资源创造的意境，充分调动了我们的好奇心，大家紧张着、兴奋着。最难的就是飞花令，反应要快，诗词储备更要足。
What impressed me the most was the guessing of poetry lines and the flying flower command segment based on pictures. These slightly novel things, the artistic conception created by digital resources, fully aroused our curiosity, and everyone was nervous and excited. The most difficult part is the Flying Flower Command, which requires quick response and sufficient poetry reserves.
经过激烈的角逐，我们组最终获得了第三名，虽然名次不算很好，但这毕竟是我们共同努力得来的，那张奖状就是我们共同的劳动成果。
After intense competition, our group ultimately achieved third place. Although the ranking was not very good, it was the result of our joint efforts, and that certificate is the result of our collective labor.
第一次参加我们学校组织的诗词大会，有经验也有教训，我更爱上了积累诗词，也明白了团队合作的重要。比赛虽过去一段时间了，但其中的情景还时时清晰地浮现在我的眼前，催我奋进，促我自新。难忘2023年的诗词大会！
This is my first time participating in a poetry competition organized by our school. I have gained experience and lessons, and I have fallen in love with accumulating poetry. I also understand the importance of teamwork. Although it has been some time since the competition, the scenes still vividly appear before my eyes, urging me to strive forward and rejuvenate.
