每当到周未，我们放假，妈妈不工作的时候，妈妈就会给我们做水煮肉片来解馋。早上，妈妈会起得很早，首先把放在微冻里的牛肉解冻好，用淀粉和鸡蛋抓均，然后开始做汤底，在锅中放入蒜沫、小米辣以及各种调料，之后再加入一点火锅底料添上水，汤底就做好了，每当这时原本在睡懒觉的我一下就醒了。一闻到那股香味我就迫不及待来到厨房，兴奋地问着妈妈：“什么时候可以吃呢？”可妈妈却说：“要到了中午才能吃。”妈妈的回答令我有些失望……这时锅里突然咕嘟，仿佛它也在发起抗议，为了不让它在抗议，妈妈立刻把金针菇、油麦菜、娃娃菜等食材放了进去，这时妹妹也顺着香味，搬着她的小板凳来一探究竟。这时锅里又咕嘟了一声好像是在和妹妹打招呼，接着，我和妹妹异口同声地问道：“什么时候可以吃？”妈妈有些不耐烦地说：“还有两分钟。”我和妹妹兴奋地跳了起来，然后乖乖的坐到沙发上等待，可这两分钟度秒如年啊。就在我和妹妹快要坐不住的时候，妈妈终于端上了我们期盼已久的水煮肉片，我夹了一片牛肉放到嘴里，口感嫩嫩的、麻麻的、辣辣的，简直太美味了，不一会儿水煮肉片就被我们吃了个精光。

My sister and I jumped up excitedly and obediently sat on the sofa waiting, but these two minutes were like years. Just as my sister and I were about to lose our seats, my mother finally served us the long-awaited boiled pork slices.
