五一长假，总得去哪儿玩一玩吧。比起热闹喧嚣的景点，我更喜欢跟着妈妈漫无目的地走街窜巷。
During the May Day holiday, we have to go somewhere to have some fun. I prefer following my mother aimlessly through the streets and alleys rather than the hustle and bustle of tourist attractions.
避开嘈杂的人群，我们慢悠悠地拐进了一条小巷。我指着一个门牌，对妈妈说：“妈妈你看，这是青龙巷！”放眼望去，这是一条即古朴又精美的巷子，虽然不长，却藏着不少深宅大院。
Avoiding the noisy crowd, we leisurely turned into a small alley. I pointed to a doorplate and said to my mother, 'Mom, look, this is Qinglong Lane!' Looking around, it was a quaint and exquisite alley, although not long, it contained many deep courtyards.
青龙巷里有典型的清代闽南传统院落式民居，也有本世纪初东南亚归国华侨兴建的中西合璧洋楼，精致的红色外墙砖雕，独特的西式窗棂，别具特色。
In Qinglong Lane, there are typical traditional courtyard style residences from the Minnan region of the Qing Dynasty, as well as Western style buildings built by overseas Chinese returning from Southeast Asia at the beginning of this century. The exquisite red exterior brick carvings and unique Western style window frames are distinctive.
最让我印象深刻的是“李妙森故居”外墙上那“象头人身”的瓷砖。虽然经历了近百年岁月的洗礼，但仍完好无损，精美绝伦。
The most impressive thing for me is the ceramic tiles with an elephant head and a human body on the exterior wall of Li Miaosen's former residence. Although it has undergone nearly a century of baptism, it is still intact and exquisite.
泉州有句老话“金青龙，银聚宝”。妈妈告诉我：“宋元时期，聚宝街这里商贾云集，是当时最繁华的街道。”我看着如今有些破败的街道，脑海里却浮现出过往热闹非凡的场景，心里不禁感慨万千……
