Difficulties are not scary, what's scary is that you bow down to them without the confidence to face them. When encountering difficulties, the first reaction is not fear, but to think about the joy of overcoming them. If you face difficulties with such a mindset, they will be overcome. Today, I will talk about my experience of overcoming stuttering when speaking.
Stuttering refers to being very stuttering when speaking, buffering after a few words. I stuttered a bit when I was speaking in third grade, and I don't know how to correct it. Later, I came up with a solution, which was to add a pun before speaking. For example: Ha, ha, hee, etc. But when using this method to formally engage in conversation, the frequency of stuttering during speaking increases. And sometimes when I speak too quickly, the added homophones are always uncontrollably prolonged, and after speaking, it always makes people laugh out loud, which makes me very sad. Once when asked about someone's handwriting, 'Ha, ha, ha... how is your book... written?' After speaking, it always made me laugh uncontrollably.
Until fourth grade, I was always in this state, constantly lagging behind. Later on, I began to fear speaking, afraid of stuttering and making others laugh when I spoke. So after a while, I created another way of speaking. If I stutter, I can take a gentle breath, which can replace homophones and avoid being heard by others. It's like killing two birds with one stone! Sure enough, when I speak in this way, it sounds much smoother. Later, my dad made an appointment for me to take an online course with an eloquence teacher, which helped me improve my eloquence to a higher level. Now, I speak very fluently, although there are still some shortcomings, I believe that I will definitely become better in the future.
Difficulty is not scary, as long as you are willing to work hard, there is nothing difficult.
