Smelling the fragrance of flowers in front of the pavilion, watching the blooming flowers by the boat.
During the May Day holiday, my parents and I came to one of the four major gardens in Suzhou, the "Lingering Garden". The first thing I saw when I arrived at the Lover's Garden was the words "Lover's Garden" written on the archway, symbolizing the natural beauty of a beautiful couple.
Once entering the gate, there is a White Marble arch bridge. Under the bridge, there is a slowly flowing river. Standing on the bridge, the breeze blows cool.
As the flow of people continues, we come to the "Xieyin Shuangshan Hall" and "Zaijiu Hall" in the center of the garden, which are the host's waiting area and the place where the host receives guests. Under the plaque hangs a couplet: "Carrying Wine in the East Garden, Drunk in the West Garden, Seeking Flowers in the South Mo, Returning in the North Mo". From this couplet, we can see the uniqueness of this garden, which is composed of two gardens, Donghua Garden and Xihua Garden.
Turn right from Zaijiu Hall and follow the long corridor to Donghua Garden. The green waters of Donghua Garden ripple, creating layers of ripples. Giant green bamboo plants are planted, drinking and admiring the moon, listening to music and poetry, refreshing the heart and soul. Walking and stopping, I crossed the Moon Gate and arrived at Xihua Garden. Xihua Garden is mainly a place for collecting books, reading, and studying, with many portraits of famous people hanging on the walls.
Oh my god! Unconsciously, I arrived at the small corner door and couldn't bear to look back. I smelled the fragrance of flowers again, and the faint sound of music could be heard in my ears. Could it be that the host was bidding farewell?
