在这周的周六，学校打算举办一次活动，让我们去照顾孤寡老人，但是名额有限，只能在六年级里面选一个班，经过老师们的抽票，我们班很荣幸被选中了，当我们听到这个消息都开心的蹦了起来，因为我们都想为社会尽一份微薄之力。

周六，我们来到了集合地，老师和校长给我们分配老人，这时我非常的紧张，手里全是汗珠，分配的是两个同学一起照顾一个老人。我和同班的王小娟一组来到吃饭点，然后坐在老人旁边喂她吃饭。吃完饭后王小娟打了一盆温水，轻轻的为老人擦脸。到了散步时，我搀扶着老奶奶在公园里走着，王小娟跑了过来手里拿了一支红色的花，把它戴在了老奶奶头上，还直夸老奶奶长得比花都好看，奶奶的脸上染上了一层淡淡的红晕。
On Saturday, we arrived at the gathering place where the teacher and principal assigned elderly people to us. At this moment, I was very nervous and my hands were covered in sweat. Two classmates were assigned to take care of an elderly person together. My classmate Wang Xiaojuan and I came to the dining area and sat next to the elderly person to feed her. 回到房间，天空暗淡了下来。我去打了两盆温水，分别用来给老奶奶洗脸洗脚，老奶奶坐在床上，我轻轻的把奶奶的鞋子脱了下来，把脚放进了温水盆里帮老奶奶洗脸，老奶奶脸上挂上了笑脸，临走时老奶奶送给了我们一人一个小胸针，我们把它保存了起来。
Returning to the room, the sky dimmed. I went to fetch two pots of warm water, which were used to wash the face and feet of the old lady. The old lady sat on the bed, and I gently took off her shoes and put my feet into the warm water pot to help her wash her face. 今天的经历让我有了很深的感悟：年轻人们都在外面工作，把老人一个人留在家里，也很少回家，老人们缺少陪伴与关怀。我希望那些在外工作的儿女子孙们可以经常回家陪陪养育自己长大的老人吧！
