刚到校门口，我立刻被震撼到了——朱红色对开的大门，飞粱斗拱的房顶，每根横梁上面都是精美异常的图案，整个校门雕梁画栋的犹如一座北京王府的大门，左右两只威武的石狮子看门。这样的校门全世界也找不出第二个了吧。沿着平坦的大道往里走，中心区域一个绿草如茵的大草坪跃入眼球，草地中心矗立着一块高大的石碑，边上的阶梯上有不少哥哥姐姐或坐或躺地看着手中的书，我真想捧一本书，也像交大莘莘学子一样看起来。

穿过一条种满梧桐树的幽静小路，映入眼帘的是一座用红砖砌成的西洋风一条种满梧桐树的幽静小路，映入眼帘的是一座用红砖砌成的西洋风格建筑，在夕阳的余晖下显得格外高大而华丽，气势恢弘。看了铭牌才知道这是交通大学1919年建成的老图书馆。听爸爸介绍，老图书馆以其精致典雅的风格独显魅力，自建成以来，成为交大人的藏书、看书之地，迎来成千上万的学子走进这知识的殿堂。“这个图书馆比我们学校的图书馆大多少？有多少藏书呀？……”当我想打破砂锅问到底时，爸爸建议我自己找“度娘”查找。于是，我取出手机，上网搜索，原来这座建筑很有名气，也成为上海图书馆建筑、高雅文化的标志性象征，出现在许多电影、电视和摄影作品之中，还曾是上海乃至全国各种工业展览会的重要展馆呢！哇！一座图书馆还有这么多的历史，我不禁暗暗惊叹。只可惜因为是休息日关门早，我们没能进去参观，无法了解交大的风雨发展历程。

沿着图书馆门前的路，向前走一段就是董浩云航运博物馆了，远远看去这又是一栋很有年代感的两层楼的西式建筑。这时老爸抬手一看表说道：“哎呀！开放时间快要结束了，要快否则赶不上了”“快！”我叫道，于是我俩加快了步伐一路小跑来到门口。一进门，我们发现这是一栋中西合璧的建筑。它外表虽是西式风格，里面的结构却有着中国式的天井，天井的顶上又用大块的玻璃做了顶棚使得整个天井明亮通透。在庭院的两边，就是展馆了。进入展馆，映入眼帘的是一艘艘精致的船模，一件件古代航海的器物。每个船模的细节都是按比例缩小制成，栩栩如生，好像放进水里就能开动。墙上记载着中国航海活动的发展的介绍和上海还没开埠前外滩和吴淞口码头的老照片。“哦！原来上海以前外滩是这个样子的呀，简直就是一个小渔村嘛，现在的外滩可是要比那时候高大上多啦！”我不禁小声说出声来。“是呀，今天来得很有意义吧！作为一个地道的上海人就是应该知道这些的。”老爸笑嘻嘻地说着。我边走边看，中国的航海事业真了不起！正在我看得入迷时，耳边传来要闭馆了的声音。唉，还有很多地方没有参观到，那就留待以后吧。

走出大学校门，天色已暗，再回头看一眼那完全中国风格的校门，而里面看到却是到处中西合璧的建筑，两者完美的结合是呢么的和谐呢么的交融，很好的突现出了这所大学独特的文化气质，这里是浓缩的上海，这里展现的是上海的气质，这让我真正领悟到了“海纳百川、追求卓越、开明睿智、大气谦和”这十六个大字所包含的深刻含义，再看看眼前璀璨的灯火，繁华热闹的徐家汇，我越来越为生在上海这座充满人文情怀的城市而自豪，更为作为一个中国人而骄傲。
