记得儿时，总是能从爷爷、奶奶的身上，感受到作为一名共产党员吃苦耐劳的奉献精神。我也总喜欢缠着爷爷、奶奶，听他们讲述那逝去岁月中动人的英雄故事，在我幼小的心灵中不断根植了一个个惊心动魄又时常引发我热泪盈眶的英雄形象：董存瑞、黄继光、邱少云、刘胡兰……这些响亮的名字都在我的脑海中逐渐清晰，诱发我心中的那份英雄情结。尽管那时我稚气未脱，但是我却清楚的记住：五星红旗是用革命者的鲜血染红的，我们的幸福生活是那些英雄们用鲜血换来的。那时的我每每见到五星红旗都会肃然起敬，并记住了奶奶常说的：“我们要珍惜来之不易的幸福生活。”
